Camp Amache Secular Pilgrimage

Service Description

Take a one-day civic secular pilgrimage to Camp Amache, CO, a National Historic Site. Camp Amache is the one of the newest National Park System sites and stands to honor the 7,000+ who were imprisoned at Camp Amache during WWII from 1942-1945. This site is rich with gardens and stories of resilience. It holds the memory of a darker time in our national and Colorado history; by honoring the events, we work to acknowledge and heal from this history. This civic secular pilgrimage will include transportation to and from the site in southeast Colorado, a tour of the Amache grounds, conversations about the history and stories of the site, three shared meals, and a ritual ceremony.
