American Parks Pilgrimage provides meaningful transformative experiences in national Park service sites. These 430 plus sites focus on more than natural beauty, and extend into our American heritage and civic duty. Who knew you didn’t have to go to the Camino in Spain for a transformational experience! As an experienced teacher, traveler, pilgrim, and chaplain; my role is to guide you through an experience that is uniquely yours. Rather than using the vehicle of specific religions, the use of rituals are engaged. From attaining a park stamp to accomplishing the hike you’ve dreamed of, the wide range of rituals serve to facilitate meaning making.

With sustainability and access in mind, we utilize a gift economy model for covering resources for pilgrimages rather than cash paid for services (we also accept donations if that is preferred). In terms of products, there are a variety of secular pilgrimages for you to choose from, I offer 1:1 outdoor secular chaplaincy hikes, and we have options for you to explore some tools on your own if you prefer.
